Okay, thanks. How do shells actually shed? I have owned several turtles years back, but never remember their shell shedding, doesn't that look sorta the same?

I'd say the average visit costs $50-75. The problem will shell fungus is the other problems it causes, other types of infection. Normal shed scutes are thin and translucent and should just come off when they are ready.

A claw? I don't think that's suppose to happen. You might wanna give the vet a call.

Shedding claws is not normal

A vet is going to need to be your next step.
