Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hi! I always take Clover outside to roam the yard, I keep an eye on her, of course. Is there an easy way to dry her off so she can walk around inside? And if there is water on the floor, is there a chance of my dogs getting sick? Thanks a lot! :)

I have a towel that's just for my turtle. When i take her out of the tank i wrap her in the towel to dry her off that way i can check her shell and skin for any problems. Would also work for you to dry yours off to roam around.

I dry mine off with a paper towel. You can then toss the paper towel in the garbage.

If there is a chance your turtles might drink or eat your dog's urine or poop, why don't you keep them separate?
