Hi! Clover is 3, and I usually give a few pieces of shredded veggies or a few pellets (alternating) every night. I don't know if I am feeding her too much or not enough.please let me know what I should be giving her.

In regards to basking, she has the floating dock that suction cups to the side. There is a light on over her tank, but she NEVER basks! What should I do? Thank you all!

Check the temperature of the basking area, make sure it's 10 degrees warmer than the water. 88-90 degrees usually is about right.

As far as feeding, start here:

How long have you had the current basking area set up? You can feed veggies (lettuce) everyday and alternate pellets. You can put a pic up and we can see if she's overweight.

Make sure that the basking area is easy for her to get up on. There are some that just don't work very well.
