Hello again i've been making quite a few post because as kid I live in Los Angeles so they were from the allies and eventually died becaseu i was too young to care for them. I am now 27 and got 2 more from my gf i have had them for about 1week now and went out and bought a exo terra 5.0 uvb light which i asked a question on in the equipment review section mainly if that light causes eye problems. i have both of them in a 10gal tank with river rocks, a fake plant, a 20 gal filter, rocks pilled up to give something to climb on half in water half out, i also a little dock which dips in the water and is out so they can stay dry. since my tank is small the turtles are still about 1in is that ok? I plane to move to about 20-35gal in a month then to a 75 with in 6mnths to a year. my main questions is about heating since the tank is small i have the UVB light plus a 45watt reg bulb for the basking area the water varies from 75-80 my question is should i get a heater or can i use a heating pad under the tank to wheat the water?
