New to site and turtle ownership! Our house flooded approx two weeks ago. Found a RES in the debris while cleaning up. It is approx the size of a quarter. I've been reading lots of post but want to make sure we dont overfeed "him". Feeding Reptomin baby pellets twice a day. Approx how many pellets each time should we feed "him". Thanks for any replies appreciate it. Only had him three days and have had fish most of my life but these turtles are cool! Never even thought about having a turtle sure glad this one came into my family's life! :)

A general guideline used by most experienced keepers calls for the amount of pellets to be in proportion to the size of their heads (excluding their necks). Remember, pellets should be offered every day to hatchlings and only offered every other day for yearlings and adults.
