I have a nesting area next to my pond, and every year the turts just pop em out in the water! The fish and the other turtle love me!

Eggs 4,5,6,7 and 8 are out! Trevor laid them in about 1.5 hours on Thursday while hubby and I were at dinner. There haven't been any more since Thursday, but we'll see- I think I can feel at least two more. :-)

Females want what they want. If she thinks that laying them underwater is fine, then, as long as the eggs come out, who cares?

I have an older female somewhere between 5 and 7 years old, (she was re-homed to us), and so far she has not laid eggs in our care. But I have three females, so, when my younger girls mature, I expect a lot of eggs.

Is there a correlation between having multiple females together & eggs? I can see why that would be for females with a male, but is it also true for more than one girl together?

I don't think so. Jen had her girls together, and I believe only one would keep laying eggs.
