Hey guys, I'm starting to get concerned w/ my RES Squirt, he's eating just as much as Crush (the big one) and he's still not growing, like at all, as for Crush he's about 2/3 times bigger than Squirt. They don't fight, i feed them the same thing.
Can someone please help me, I'm really worried about Squirt.

Their genes, genders and metabolisms can all play a role in their growth. How big are they?

One could be a girl and one a boy. I would think females would grow faster since they reach a larger size.

Right now its a little too early to tell what sex they are. I have three turtles i bought at the same time and same size aswell, one is way big, one is medium, and one is still SUPER small like the size of your biggest one and there going on one in a half years to to years old now. its just the turtle. some grow really quick and some grow really slow. Females get bigger then males by far and usually do grow a bit faster then the males but really, its just the genes and diet of the turtle as steve said above. You dont have anything to worry about they look pretty healthy. Personally I dont even think they need that shell conditioner. if they seem to be doing great on there own why put chemicals on them right?

Good luck with your turtles! Welcome to the forums btw i dont think iv posted in any of your threads lol. Got pics of your setup?
