It seems like she knows who I am, but I wasn't sure. I got her from a science teacher at my old college, and he said that they don't recognize people. anyone know? Thanks

Oh yes they recognize you. Mainly as the person that brings them food but they defiently know who you are.

I believe Trevor recognizes me, most likely because I'm the one that feeds him, but he also recognizes my voice because he gets excited when I come home from work and call out to my husband.

My hubby has been in the computer room (where Trevor is) one floor below, and has seen Trevor wake up from a sound sleep at the sound of my voice- sometimes sleeping on the platform, sometimes in the water.

Plus Trevor calms down at this "tick tick tick" sound I make when moving him in and out of his aquarium.
