This morning I noticed one of my RES was foaming at the mouth a little bit. I'm sure this can't be good but does anyone recommend anything? What does this mean? Thanks :/

Mucus can be a sign of respiratory infection, though foaming at the mouth is harder to diagnose. Are there any other symptoms? Has this happened before?

Well for the past few weeks he has been opening and closing his mouth when he is out of the water....like he's trying to get air. I read that could be a respiratory infection. But then last week I got them a basking lamp and he seemed to stop as soon as I got the lamp, but this morning is when I just noticed the foam on his mouth.

That looks like mucus. Please get him to a vet ASAP. Turtles hide their illnesses so he's probably been sick for a while. Take him in before it gets worse. Bump up his water and basking temps each by 5 degrees in the mean time to help his immune system.
