Hi I'm new here :D.

I recently got a red ear slider from my sister.
He's four years old and about an 1.5 to 2.5 inches long.
Should I be worried?

Truth be told ,its kinda strange.
Well ,few questions cross my mind like ,where did your sister keep him?How often did she feed him and what? Was there a basking/uvb light and a basking spot?

You guys are fast :P
My sister kept him in a 10 gallon with just a heater and filter.
He has a basking area and UVB bulb now.

That is pretty small, what was his diet like before? Are you sure he's a RES?

Oops, I must have skimmed over the diet question. I don't know how much he's fed, but I know he's given food daily.
I'm pretty sure he's a RES, he has a red mark around where his ear should be with webbed feet.

I can post pictures if that'd help.
