can anyone tell me what to expect if your female lays eggs in their tank and they break?

cloudy water for a bit? what looks like egg shell all over?

1st time experiencing this.. so i just want to know this is what happened so i can prepare for this.

Eggs only break usually cause turtle eats it, and then there isnt a mess at all, just will see thin layers of white shell on the bottom. It wont mess up the water quality in anyway.

Here is a pic of eggs I pulled out of my tank.This was the first time I was fast enough since they usually eat them. Your water gets very cloudy right when they break them but it clears up in a minute or two if you have a decent filter. I usually find pieces of egg shell on the bottom of the tank (but not always). If you don't catch them right after they lay them, you may never know she did!
