Hey guys, i took my turtle out the tank today to let it be out in the sun outside, and i noticed the bottom of its shell was starting to peel, is this normal ?

also i think my turtle is a girl, what you guys think ?

Yep, just shedding and the bottom of his shell looks in perfect health

Haha, i just said he automatically. It is a female though, I can tell by the tail.

That looks like normal sheding of the plastron. (bottom)
