Hey guys I brought home butter on 8/25/2011 and ever since i got butter his/her shell has always worried me. Its quite soft and pliable someone said butter is due for a shed but hasnt yet and looks worse since i first took pics of the shell need advice thanks

Let's not worry about shedding... what's he been eating? Has he been basking? What does he have for UVB?

i feed him pellets mostly but sometimes give them a piece of tuna or some mango/strawberry and they just started liking the jello shots Yes he is basking more then peanut and i have a 13 W ReptiGlo 5.0 UVB

o and just took him off the hatchling formula and now on regular sized pellets http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... Id=2752328 this is the current food i give them 9 pellets to share with a little bit of krill in there

The lightness is probably from shedding. Continue with the pellets and maybe additional calcium. Try the 26W ReptiGlo when it's time to replace it.

ok my birthday is in 7 days and i asked for gift cards from petco or petsmart so i will stock up on stuff for peanut and butter. O hey i got some good photos of peanut and butter well mostly butter cause hes/shes not camera shy lol check it out when u can
