Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I've peeled them off, but am worrying.
RES shed, right? But they are around 2 months old I guess; is it too early?
Also, they seem to be struggling in the water. I provided a small platform that goes across the width of the tank, but they seem to be ignoring it? It is only slightly above water level. Yeah o3o

Skin shedding when they are babies is normal. You will notice skin shedding is much more frequent and noticable when they are small. So yea the skin your seeing is normal.

Sometimes it takes turtles a little time to get used to a new basking area. Unsure if it is safe to use. Give it a little time. IF you think turtle might be having some swimming probalems. Just make sure they have a couple items that they can use to help get them to the surface.
