So I'm sure now after my last few posts you all know I have a 6mo old cumberland slider well last night I came home from work to a baby res in my tank my boyfriend had bought it for me the lady told him its only 2 weeks old. So 2 questions....I. can't find the post on how to entice them to eat can someone post the link and also the new one keeps trying to stack on top of turtley to bas and even to swim but turtley just moves away from him does anyone know if cumberlands stack the way res do when basking and if so will it effect turtleys shedding process much cause he is in the process of doing so

Be very careful with aggression. There should be a big size difference between turtles and your baby can get very hurt. I'm seeing either a huge 180 plus gallons tank in your future or multiple tanks. Both turtles if female can grow to 12 inches each.

Oh yeah I have been watching them very closely and will contine to...turtle is very docile tho he live with other turtle the first 3 months of his life before I got him and fish for a month or two after...he's only been alone is the tank for about a month maybe 2 he doesn't seem to mind the baby I think he might even be a little scared of it when the baby swims by him and gets close he tucks his head in then swim in the other direction. Right now they are about 1.5inches or so in size difference maybe 2 they baby is the sizeof a quarter give or take and turtley in almost 2.5 now. They r in a 35 gallon tank we have a 75gal on order and we havea pond being built in our front yard for when they outgrow the 75gallon :-)

Good for you, they'll love the pond.
