General Care Discussion :: Sudden Pink Spot on Skin

I noticed tonight, about 5 hours after her feeding, that Rainbow suddenly has a brownish/pinkish spot between her arm and neck. She hasn't really been acting weird otherwise. She still seems to have the same amount of energy, basks, and is eating. The spot really is worrying me because it seems odd.

Does that area feel hard/rough? My RES sometimes gets those but usually goes away after a couple of days.

I'm not really sure how it feels because she's always very fidgety so she never lets me get close to touching it.

I'd just keep an eye on it and look out for any symptoms. I think it'll just go away though...

She still has the spot on her skin, and I still think she's acting the same. Really nothing out of the ordinary except for that spot which just fills me with such paranoia. Because I keep thinking how and why did this happen, and if I should be concerned enough to take her to the vet. But if this just happens sometimes and goes away then I'll just keep watching her. I'm not sure what causes it, but it'll probably feel a little hard, like a scab. I expect it to go away.
