i just fed my turtle and i noticed some green stuff on the dock, the part where you go up from the water. it looks like algea. would that be what it is?
also can i put a pleco in there with my turtle female betta and about 10 guppies?

Yep I would say its algae. Mine has that. And I have a pleco in with my turtle, five other big fish, a lot of guppies (they keep having babies), and four snails. He does a good job but he doesn't really get to the dock as he doesn't like how shallow the water is, which is why I have little snails as they don't mind the dock. (and my big apple snail has actually gotten on top of the dock to eat the algae but he quickly realized it was a bad idea when he almost sank it.

Just remember that plecos have water volume requirements like turtles. So unless you have a good extra 10 gallons of water, it can add stress on the cycle and filtration. If you do not have a huge aglae issue, your pleco will need additional food...which also causes part of the stress.
