So my Yellow Bellied Slider, Ninja, has really Horrible looking Shell

And i wanna know if there is something wrong. or does he just need a good shedding?

its a Pretty big photo >.<

She could use a good shed, though one area is of concern:

Is it receding? Soft? Smell? Discolored?

How frequent to they generally shed?

yeah i was pretty concerned about that spot.. but it's not soft, smelly, or discolored..

Optimally, they should shed close to once a year. Did you know what happen to that area? It should be carefully checked out.

Just my thoughts on that spot, looks like shell rot was there and has since healed.
