What course of treatment are you following?

Betadine rub, 2x and then let it dry for 1hr, then coat with neosporin.

Are you coating the entire shell? You only need to do so in the trouble spots. Also, how long do you let the shell dry after the neosporin?

I'm only doing where the injury is. I left it dry for an hour.

Do the white spots that we think is shell rot have a smell to it? Usually shell rot has a smell to it if its beginning to go into the more advanced stages of shell rot. Is it soft? If the treatment dont work, youtube how to clean shell rot. If it gets bad iv seen a video that shows how to remove the dead area with a knife and you use meds to fend off infections. It seems painful to the turtle but its just like a human with a broken arm, better pain now while getting that arm fixed instead of letting the bone set and it end up killing you. Shell rot is a killer

No smell to the white spots. I did notice though, that the shell problems are on the same side as some swelling where the front limb is under the shell. She ate fine tonight, last night, she wasn't so happy and didn't eat. Maybe she has some kind of infection somewhere else...

Well, all the dry docking and neosporin/iodine is paying off. It's healing. She's really ticked off though, just picking her up results in a snap of her beak.. I'm going to give it another week and if it's not improved, time to meet the local hero vet...here's pictures of the tank setup/basking area.

Yeah! I love this tank. It only cost me $45! My local fish guy made me a one time deal.. my gf bought most of the plant, and I have an aqua clear 110 and a fluval U4 in there.. plus Kois to eat the garbage..
