I can't get any basking poses. Everytime I go near the pond they shoot off the basking rocks.

alot of times cujo will balance himself on the part of the ramp that angles up and then supermans. its actually pretty cool to see him balance like that

I thought I was the only one with turtles doing this odd "Superman" pose! I even called it that before I read it here! I guess it's just the obvious choice for a name.

both my turtles do it, but one does it more than the other. and the one who does it more, isn't shy about basking. Nibbler will just sit on the rock, and have arms and legs and head out while I'm standing there talking to him.

i have two turtles a baby one and a grown up one, they stretch their legs out exactly the sametime everytime strang but cute, i say they are sunbathing wen they r doing this
