Donie's eating it. Not a lot but, once in a while I notice him pecking at it. I've never seen a turtle do this before.

are you talking about a stone you put in the water to condition the water instead of putting the liquid chemicals in? or are you talking about the air stone that puts all the bubbles in the water?

the little turtle shaped stone for their shell. I guess it's just calcium (what I figured).

I dont think that can really harm your turtle at all, as long as its not eating like the WHOLE thing.

feeding your turtle pieces of cuttlebone less the backing is a good way to give them calcium.

Those white turtles like Dr. Turtle, Sulfa turtle blocks are not recommended. The chemicals and medications in there might be harmful after long-term usage.

Yes. If you don't already know, you can find it in the bird section of any pet store. It's also sold in the reptile section in different packaging with a higher price tag. Go figure. Same exact thing.
Cuttlebone will have a backing on it... you'll need to take a knife and pry off the backing. The turtle cannot eat the backing.

It took my turtle two years but I now notice him nipping at the cuttle bone every so often. I have always offered it to my turtle even when he had his egg tooth.

They are born with an egg tooth which helps them rip open the egg shell.
