i haven't seen mine yawn, they do yawn though... mine still withdraws into the shell when it basks, probably because she's still not adjusted to the tank

I've seen mine yawn occasionally. Whats the point in yawning? Is it the same as in humans, supposing turtles have diaphrams too.

My RES yawns occasionally as well, usually after he's been basking for a while in the early evening (he's had a hard day of swimming, pooping, eating and basking).
