Hi! Does my slider yawn? It appears as if she does when she climbs on her basking rock. Thanks :o

i haven't seen mine yawn, they do yawn though... mine still withdraws into the shell when it basks, probably because she's still not adjusted to the tank

mine do occasionally. As long as it's not all the time, it's fine.

I've seen mine yawn occasionally. Whats the point in yawning? Is it the same as in humans, supposing turtles have diaphrams too.

My RES yawns occasionally as well, usually after he's been basking for a while in the early evening (he's had a hard day of swimming, pooping, eating and basking). :)
