General Care Discussion :: does your turtle poo at a certain spot?

for a couple of days now i've noticed my turtle likes to go to his "area" to poo, he hangs around there and sorta does his business between the rocks, heres a pic

is this just a coincidence? does yours do this too?

Mine tend to gravitate to a particular area in the tank, just not the same exact spot.. That just makes it much easier to clean their tank.

Mine have no rhyme or reason for where they choose to go. They go anywhere.

Mine used to do their business around the basking rock or in the fake plants. Nowadays out of the few times I've seen, they have no particular preference.

Could it be the water/waste is "trapped" there by the rocks?
