Phew it's hot here. Up in the 100deg and we live on a sun porch. Is the water getting too hot for us? We seam fine but I can read the thermometer and it says it's 100 at the top of the scale. Should we ask our owners to cover us from the direct sun or maybe for some ice to keep us at 80deg? Please let us know what to do!

Can you be moved into a cooler area of your home? A fan blowing on your water surface will cool it too but increase evaporation. I think you might want to drop hints to your owners about the benefits of air conditioning.

holy wow, yes you should have a heart to heart with you owner, ask them to either shade you or something because top temp should be 85 MAX for water. No reason to get out and bask if the water is so nice?
