General Care Discussion :: Male or Female - Stupid Question

So Angelina is now 4 inches long (or very, very close). I'm pretty sure she is female based on her nails but want to put some pics up. When I had her out of the tank on Saturday wanting to get some pics, she would not let her tail hang. Anytime I hold her up in the air she tucks her tail. How in the world do you all get pics of them with their tail hanging down?

Try and get some of him/her swimming around in the tank. If it is male we can still tell. Show the claws too

most of the time, someone holds the turtle then you lightly pull out the tail and snap a picture, it won't hurt them, and it should take that long

LOL My daughter was five (almost six) when we got Angelina. She named her (would not have been my choice of name). Even if she wasn't a girl, she was going to be called one, because my now seven year old would be heart broken if she was a he.

Oh and thanks for the suggestion of in tank pics. I got the tail ones while she was chomping on the lettuce in her veggie clip.
