Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I'm a new owner and my RES (had him for a couple weeks) had been eating like a pig until yesterday. I feed him Reptomin pellets about as much as his head size and he'd eat them all in a flash. Yesterday he hardly ate anything at all. Just wondering at what point I should be concerned enough to get him to a vet. Thanks

They're doing pretty well now. Seems it's pretty normal for them to just have a day here or there where they don't want to eat too much. They *always* eat the shrimp bites though.

Yeah, I've noticed mine stop once in a while. I have three that will devour anything green in the tank one week and then just kind of shrug at the stuff the next week. Then it's back to search and destroy.
