Flippy's shell is turning yellow, and the edges of the outside row of scutes is green. The edges of the back of her shell are also a little jagged. Is this the beginning of scute shedding, since the scutes are turning golden? Or is it the beginning of pyramiding, with the new scutes growing in under the old ones that have not yet shed? In a couple of these pictures her shell had started to dry off in the air, which I believe accounts for the grayish-white appearance of some of the scutes in a couple of the photos.
I don't know but I just wanted to say flippy has an amazingly colorful shell! My 2 of mine are so dark colored you can't see a lot of the swirly markings.
