My turtle swims towards the glass constantly and now my other turtle is starting to do it to. He also is very jumpy. Will he grow out of it or is this something I need to worry about? It's almost like they are trying to get away from something or get to something. I don't know.

Or like they are begging. My son's turtle does that, but only when she sees me. If she isn't aware I'm there, there's none of that.

Can you tell if they do it when you aren't there?

It's not really a begging thing. He goes up and down the glass and from one end of the tank to the other. If I get near the tank he shoots to the bottom and hides. I just don't understand.

It sounds like they are fixated on you (begging) then getting a little spooked when you're too close.

I came home today and the sand was a whole mess like he had been doing that all day. It was only in the front and he created a little sand bar. If it doesn't hurt him any way I don't mind. I just don't want it to be a problem.

Might have just been foraging a bit. Have you seen any changes in poop?
