General Care Discussion :: Something to play with?

I think my turtles need toys or something. They're so incredibly curious about everything and they just seem like they want to discover and explore things. What can I add to their bin as something to play with? I was thinking about maybe like a pingpong ball to knock around. I used to have something like that for my betta fish. Or maybe marbles? Idunno. What do you guys use?

I think most people use fish!I feel sorry for the fishies... I KNOW mine will eat them but apparently some turtles dont

you can poke a hole in a ping pong ball and it will float to the bottom and maybe the turtle will go after it trying to eat it but not be able to get ahold of it.

and yeah thats what i was thinking. they're tiny enough that most things cant fit in their mouthes

Ping pong balls are thin plastic though.. Won't the turtles break it with their claws or beak? I know he won't be able to capture it, but won't it break somehow?
I'm also looking for some kind of toy for my turtle, Sheldon, to play with. He seems very bored.

Anything new is amusing, from a new heater to a golf ball to fake plants. I don't think they really get bored, since they are content to just hang out and back all day. I think I am the one who needs to be amused... as long as they can't eat it and it's not harmful, just toss it in.
