Is it bad if my turtles bask ten times more than they swim?

somtimes turtles bask more when they are sick to help increase their body temp and immune system....not saying your turtle is sick, just something i noticed when mine was
Try to be like the turtle -- at ease in your own shell.

Yeah, it's difficult to answer your question without knowing if there are any other symptoms and what your setup is like. If all else seems normal, he's probably fine. I would check the basking temp tho. I've noticed that if it's not warm enough they'll bask longer because it takes them longer to warm up. Also check the water temp. If it's too low, they'll spend more time basking to make up for it.
