hi, please help and thanks for reading. very first time posting in any forum. i own two res turtles, iv had them for about 6 months. i got them pretty much as little babies (size of quarters) they were about the same size. 6 months later one of them is WAY bigger than the other. but my question is could the little one be scared to eat ? i never see him eating, but hes active and everything looks fine. i have a heat lamp, basking area, water heater and UV light. today i seen the bigger one kind of "inspecting" the smaller one. i just want to know if this is normal, i want to make sure the smaller turtle is not being intimidated. months and months ago the bigger one did bite the smaller one when they tried to eat the same worm, but it was once and never seen it happen again. thanks for reading.
Well not all turtle grow the same speed but the smaller one might be intimidated with bigger one. Id when you go to feed the bigger one from the tank then feed the smaller one and see if it eats without the bigger one being there. Then when the little one is fed put back in the bigger one and feed him.
