Hi all, Boba is doing very well he recently had his first shedding. He is about 2 in. now and his weight is increasing nicely. I believe he is in fact a he due to his markings staying consistent for a male spiny soft shell. He eats very well. He is fed half a frozen cube of brine shrimp, blood worms, beef heart, alternated everyday. He also gets a small piece of lettuce to graze on as needed, yes this soft shell eats greens. He is very active in the water and now recognizes who feeds him and will beg for food. He also likes to bask when his lights come on in the morning. I have some new pics and will post them sometime in the near future. All in all he is doing great and a awesome addition to the family.
My little buddy Toku is doing great. He is about 6 in. and I think he now done growing for the most part. He is also doing great and is very well established in his 150 gal tank. He allows only four chinese algae eaters to flourish in his tank with him, all others get eaten. He is still extremely active and now will stay on his log and bask when I walk by his tank. He loves to bask. I'm very pleased with his Mega-Ray bulb. I hope I can get measurements sometime in the near future. I will also get pics of him as well. It is starting to warm up up here, so I hope to have both of them outside for some natural rays within the next month or so.
