This is my second post about Shell help, but it's slightly worst than before and I would like to know if anyone has any more advice before I bring my little ones to the vet. A little bit of information on my turtles, they're 2 Red Eared Slider Hatchlings, named Spazz (Dark green shell) and Rocky (Light green shell) and I've had them for about a month now. I currently have them in a 10 Gallon tank that is halfway full, I have a water heater, filter, UVB light, as well as a heat light which are both about 6 inches above the bask area. I feed them about 4 baby floating food sticks in the morning and evening and as a snack I have the dried shrimp. I've done a 25% water change every week, but this past weekend I cleaned out the entire tank. The water temperature is between 76F-78F
Last week I made a post because Rocky's shell had a white spot on it. I had been dry docking him in the morning as well as in the evening, but the spot hasn't gone away and hasn't gotten worst. Last night I started dry docking both Rocky and Spazz overnight as suggested.
I want to know if I should try the dry docking overnight with the betadine & neosporin or if it would be suggested to take them to the vet. I'm also wondering if dry docking them at night and then putting them back in the water isn't helping because maybe the fungus or infection is in the water. I also noticed that they both have a few bubbles on their shells. Not sure if that's normal, but I noticed that today.
