So I have two red eared slider that are ages 1-2 years.
When we first got them they were always active moving around and playing together.
If I tried to put the girl on the brown shelf esque thing we have in out water she would just jump back in.
Fast forward 3 months and now all teh girl ever does is stay on the brown thing.
She never goes i the water uless put in. We went to a house party and before we left she was there and when we came back she was there and we know this because her shell was as dry as chapped lips in winter. I always feed the male in the water and feed the girl on the brown thing when the girl gets it in her mouth sh jumps in the water but before she can swallow the boy bites her and causes the food to fall out which he continues to eat. He even went on the brown thing and at her ood before she could.
Now whenever I feed her she doesnt eat until im holding he male turtle in another hand away from her.
There have also been various time the male has bitten her head.
I dont know what to do as they used to play in the water all day and now the girl just sits there and does nothing.

thanks in advance

If she's being harassed then you need to separate them, no other way to approach it.
