should i put my 2inch res out in a sun box....i have a 5.0 uvb.....but i heard sun was good from time to time....or is the whole process just cause too much stress on the res

If you take him outside be sure to give him plenty of room to roam in both sun and shade so he can regulate his body temp and give him complete supervision while he's outside. Something like a kiddie pool is good for outdoor use.

It also depends on the temperature. If it's below 70, then its too cold and if it's hotter than 95 then it's too hot.

so on a good hot day in the 80s would be fine....cool thanks....i was looking at small kiddie pull...but that would mean even more water work....so if i did it i would just have a cardboard box with 2 of the flap up for shade
