can any tell me how to use this better than the zoo med directions. its not clear how much water to dip powder

Someone else can correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that I had read where it wasn't a good idea.

It either had to do with building an immunity to it, or just wasn't beneficial.

If nothing is wrong, and everything is set up correctly, then there isn't any need for it. That's just my opinion.
