Just a quick question. Tode (the nice one, never bites and other stuff), a lot of the day he stays in the bottom corner of the tank, sometimes sleeping, other times just sitting around. He's active, swims normal, basks regularly. I do notice it looks like he claimed the log in the middle of the tank (not letting Bobby get in without claw fluttering, blocking the entrance, kind of cute really). I know hes not sick, because everything else is fine. Maybe he's just lazy?

I can't say from what you've written. If his behavior has substantially changed, I'd keep an eye out for any other symptoms just in case. That's all you really can do...

He may be claiming that part of the tank as his own, perhaps he feels safe there. Is the tank big enough for the two of them?

yup, its a bit smaller than i want, they should be in a 90 gallon, but they're in a 50 gallon temporarily until i can get my stock tank
