UVB and calcium are interconnected. UVB is converted into Vitamin D3 and aids in calcium absorption.

I called the vet this morning to schedule an appointment but everywhere was booked up until tomorrow so I scheduled it for tomorrow. When I hung up the phone I went to her tank and she was floating upside down in the water looking dead. I pulled her whole body was limp. I rushed her to the vet immediately and paid for the emergency visit. On the way to the vet she did a couple gasps for air other than that she appeared dead. The vet is treating her for pneumonia with atibiotics and is going to get some sugars in her system since shes lethargic. She is going to stay overnight at the vet so they can monitor her. The vet is only giving her a 10 to 20 percent chance of recovery. If your turtle is experiencing these symptoms DO NOT WAIT to call the vet.

It was so good you took her in to be seen in an emergency basis. You're doing all you can. I've got my fingers crossed. Let us know what happens.
