i have and anole lizard and my RES, paco, is infatuated with the anole....
he even opened his mouth to try and bite me when i tried to separate them... it was so cute and soo funny at the same time
why do you think he does this?

paco was trying to guard the lizard when a flashing pop up came on the screen.. it was soo funny

he is only a 5 week old hatchling, so i find it odd

While it makes a cute pic.... turtles in general but especially hatchlings really shouldn't be taken out of their habitat and handled often. Hatchlings tend to get stressed easier by this than older turtles and hatchlings are more prone to drafts and changes of temps that can lead to illnesses.

As Sonja said this does make a cute picture, but the turtle will most likely try to eat the lizard when it(turtle) gets bigger...
