I need to get rid of my turtle, shes (or he not sure yet) is about 4in in diameter. Her name is Tootsie, I am moving and cant afford to take her with me, Im in Massachusetts and was wondering if anyone here around the area would like her. Ill sell her aquarium, filter, dock, pellets, and her little tree for a reasonable price. My email is CCampbell410@hotmail.com if anyone is interested. Thanks!

If I was in the US I'd be all over that. Good luck with finding her a home :-)

Try looking for a reptile rescue in your area that could take her and place her in a good home. Or you can advertise in your local paper for adoptive parents. That way you could screen them before turning her over.

Well, I did a quick search and the place I came up with doesn't accept RES. I did find a good list of reptile rescues by state. It doesn't include all states, but it's a start.

Where is MA are you? You could try contacting www.maturtlerescue.org They won't just take turtles, but maybe they would know of other contacts. Good luck. Find your turtle a good home.
