I get the same problem every time i clean the tank.

I always rinse the buckets with cold water but then i still
get the same problem.

Tank is 50% filled but i'm not sure what is causing the very small bubbles.

Newbie on the forum. :)

If you're getting small bubbles on objects and in the water after you clean (and you're sure you've rinsed everything well), it could just be oxygen that's in the fresh water. I have had this at times, and the bubbles go away fairly quickly. Do the bubbles go away?

No, they don't go away.
Please, look at the picture and you will see that this is not normal.

I think those are bubbles caused by a chemical reaction. So it can be bacterial by nature. Plants can also do that when they start decomposing in the filter. bubbles that dont disappear after a while and cling to solid stuff cant be good. I thought before that it was ok until my turt got shell rot. Cleaned the water, and put the tank where the sun actually hits and now I dont have that problem.

I suggest checking the quality of the water. Does it smell? I had clear water but was kinda pungent with the bubbles. Smelled like fish or something.

Do you have a picture of your whole setup? Do the bubbles form and stay where the water from the filter falls?

Some times the bubbles go away some times they don't which is kind of
weird.

I know every one loves pictures so i took some as you can see from the following.

That looks like what happens in my fish tank, just that these have a foamy surface over them. Doesn't smell though. I think it's because of the filter's bio-material.

Those bubbles are ok. They are big and are caused by oxygen. The smaller bubbles which are fine and packed into each other that clings are the ones that are bad. In my case anyway.

My power filter makes giant bubbles like 2 inches wide at times. I guess they're okay, it's caused by falling water making all these bubbles that bond to make gigantic ones.
