how old should a female turtle be to start laying eggs.

ive got to females nad i ve heard that they can lay eggs with out mating.

should i expect new hatchlings or should i just toss them? :?:

If there isn't a male turtle in the tank, the female will still lay eggs once she's matured. These are unfertilized eggs and can be tossed.

There's no predictible timetable. Mine was only 3 years before she had to lay eggs, I've heard of some RES waiting much longer.
