Well, if your vet is gonna do a normal run of Baytril, it's usually 3 shots and done. My Bozo ate something he shouldn't have awhile back and ended up getting them. However, if its more than 3 shots then you have to administer it orally. Boze didn't need any more but she went over the procedure with me, just in case. First of all, its a two person operation. Someone has to hold the turt, the other has to administer the meds. When she did it, (she made it look so easy) all she did was rub a small wooden tounge depressor, about the size of a popsickle stick under his chin, which caused him to immeadeatly open his mouth, then she just placed the tounge depressor in it to hold it open.
