General Care Discussion :: Stewie looks like he has the hiccups. Help!!!

Stewie appears to be "hiccupping" for lack of a better explanation. He bobs his head as if he had the hiccups both in the water and out of the water. Is he sick? I just noticed this at the beginning of this week. I am starting to worry.

Are you sure he's not gasping/open mouth breathing? Both are possible signs of a respiratory infection. How long has he been doing this? Does he have any other symptoms?

I too would assume that he was having trouble breathing. Check the tank is there anything that he could have swallowed and gotten stuck in his throat? If not it may be a respiratory infection. In either case I would take him to see the vet.
