Speedy is doing much better now. I made him a rocky ramp underwater that gradually rises up out of the water. He like's hanging out on that for the most part day, sticking just his head out of the water. I've been feeding him from there, and he's eating his little ReptoMin turtle pellets. We tried giving him some shrimp from the petstore (they were out of minnows, and the pet store recommended them) but he didn't really like them. He's adorable when he eats, he holds the pellet with his little flipper/claw and chomps on it. He also comes out to bask in the light, but quickly scatters underwater when he sees either my wife or I coming.
I'm going to be purchasing a bigger tank soon, and I'm going to pick up a filter later today.
