your water is dirty because there is so little of it... Go with what Steve says... and also take the gravel out completely it is much easier to clean...
I Cleaned the Tank took out the Gravel, and put a little more Water in it. I didn't put too much Water in it before because when my Friend gave them to me she said not to put more in then they can get their heads above because they need to breathe? Now they are Swimming Around and Sitting on the Rocks to Breathe. I am hoping to get the 55 Gallon set up soon? Still deciding where to put it? I Posted Pichures in the Phot Gallery. If i am doing something Wrong please LMK? I want them to be happy.
Despite the amount of water, your turtles will swim to the surface to breathe. RES are aquatic turtles, they live in the water. Please, fill up your tank, and advise you friend to do the same. Your turtles will thank you for it.

Is the turtle tab you put in the kind that is a white block and looks like a turtle (Dr. Turtle block)? If it is, that might be causing the water to get cloudy. Most here do not recommend that product.

It is a White Turtle Tab? My Bigger turtle (Twister) Ate 5) Feeder Fish today. I haven't Seen (Phoenix) Eat since we has Him? He is alot Smaller. I tries putting him in a small Bowl with some Fish and Bananas for over an Hour Today and he still didn't eat? It's a Week Today when we got them.
