General Care Discussion :: NEON color SHELL after antibiotic?!?

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Tue Sep 26, 2006 5:04 am   NEON color SHELL after antibiotic?!?

Is it normal to have neon orange color on the shell after taking antibiotic? The only reason I related the strange coloring to his antibiotic is because I know that urine color can turn strange colors after taking antibiotics.

I'm pretty sure it only started after taking the injections, but I'm not positive.

It can be seen when he ducks his head into his shell, it's on the rim of his shell above his head.

Please let me know if you guys have ever heard of this, Thanks!

If it's only on the rim behind his head, it sounds like something else. A pic showing the area dry would be helpful...
