ive just noticed that the lines that looks like it connects the pieces of the shell together have become more defined. when i first got them they were thin lines but now it has become wide. should this be a concern? btw, my other turtle still has thin lines.

Is the one turtle growing more than the other? As the shell grows, the seam (lines between the scutes/plates) widens (underlying scute is larger)and often takes on a whitish/light look in the water. Have you noticed this with your turtle?

I have the very same thing going on with Pokey! He seems to have been accidentally overfed, my girlfriend and I both assuming the other had not fed Pokey since he begged all the time and now he seems to be growing and his "seam" is getting wider! Should this be a concern?

If he's being overfed, it would be good to adjust the amount he eating to slow his growth down. (They beg no matter what, so if he's been given a reasonable amount, don't give in.)

They are just growing, take a look at the pics I posted on the gallery. My turt does that every couple of weeks after I got him.
