Is the UVB light supposed to be on 10-12 hours like the heat light is? Just checking.

Yes, you can turn them on and off at the same time.

Meg, with the change in sunlight in NY, you can actually decrease the light time to 8 to 10 hours a day so it simulates the daylight outside.
