General Care Discussion :: Turtle Biting Herself

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hi, I tried looking through the archives to see if this was answered but could not find it. Basically my turtle is snipping at her own arms.... specially the right one.

She makes this funny sound when she does it so, I'm a bit scared. I looked at the arm and it looks normal.... Is she just trying to remove her dead skin? Thats what my BF thinks.

Thanks
Yayi :)

That's probably what she's doing. Mine do that sometimes too.
